Instruction includes preparing patients for examination & treatment, routine lab procedures, pharmacology, taking & document vital signs, phlebotomy, EKG and other skills.

This comprehensive twelve-week course is designed to equip students with advanced medical billing and coding skills, preparing them for a wide array of specialized roles within healthcare systems and insurance companies. The curriculum covers essential topics such as health information technology, insurance reimbursement, medical data classification, and current procedural terminology.
Students will learn how to accurately read and interpret patient charts, translating medical information into the correct codes for insurance and billing purposes. This involves analyzing patient information following healthcare visits and selecting the appropriate codes for billing either the insurance company or the patient.
Proficiency in medical terminology is critical for effective communication and accurate data entry. Students will gain in-depth knowledge of classification systems such as CPT (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-10 (International Classification of Diseases), and HCPCS (Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System).
Graduates of this course will be well-prepared for a variety of employment opportunities, including work-from-home positions, or roles in hospitals, physician offices, nursing homes, home health agencies, and insurance companies. Upon completion, students will be eligible to take the national certification exam and become a Nationally Licensed Medical Billing & Coding Specialist.
This is a four-week CNA class providing the required training by the State of Arkansas and the Office of Long-Term Care. A Certified Nursing Assistant is an individual who provides assistance with activities of daily living and basic patient care such as recording health concerns, helping with baths, taking vital signs and assisting with everyday patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. These services can be provided in hospitals, long-term care facilities and outpatient settings.
We are an approved testing facilities for our CNA student which has allowed ACHC to have a 99% pass rate on the State's Licensing Exam.

This is a five-week course where students will learn to operate equipment that measures, monitors and graphically traces the electrical activity of the heart. Each student will be trained to recognize abnormal rhythm strips to provide reliable test results for the physician. INTERPRETATION in addition to learning to operate an EKG machine safely & proficiently is a PLUS.
EKG Technicians work in physician offices, hospitals, (ER), Urgent Care Facilities, Outpatient Surgical Facilities and other medical facilities.

This five- week course provides training as a NURSING ASSISTANT, PHLEBOMIST & EKG TECHNICIAN.
As a PCT you will acquire diverse skills to work closely with the nursing staff in an office or hospital setting to deliver patient care through various responsibilities , including obtaining vital signs, patient hygiene, infection control, patient positioning, collecting lab.
Additionally, you will receive hands-on training in venipuncture and various specimen collections as well as electrode placement, stress testing and telemetry.
Patient Care Technicians are a critical team members with employment opportunities in hospitals, emergency rooms, rehabilitation facilities, dialysis clinics, physician offices and assistant living facilities.
