HOW TO APPLY
Application for admissions may be made at any time during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).  Apply in person at the ACHC Admissions Office or schedule an appointment with one of our Admissions Representatives.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
In order to be eligible for admissions to the school, a student must have a high school diploma from an accredited high school, GED Certificate, or be beyond the age of compulsory public school attendance. Before a student can be accepted for admissions to the ACHC Health Training Center, he or she must:
  • Be interviewed by an ACHC School Admissions Representative
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED
  • Provide proof of a social security card
  • Provide proof of identification (Arkansas Driver’s License or Arkansas State issued identification card)
  • Complete a student enrollment agreement
  • Arrange for tuition financing with the ACHC Student Financial Aid Office
  • Receive approval of acceptance from the director of the school
Students may apply at any time but may only start their program of study on specified start dates.  Students interested in attending ACHC are encouraged to contact the school well in advance of their intended start date since classes have limited enrollment.

FOREIGN STUDENTS
Applicants who are not citizens or permanent residents of the United States may enroll at ACHC with an appropriate student visa granted by the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service.

CREDIT FOR PREVIOUS TRAINING OR WORK EXPERIENCE
Applicants who have previous training or related work experience may be issued course credit.  Credit may only be granted on the basis of a written evaluation by an authorized school official.Credit may not be issued for more than 50% of any program or dated course work.
